No fake provider handoff
Setup URL exists in the stub backend, so this page can offer a real-looking handoff without claiming production integration.

Access exists in the stub backend, so the setup action can be enabled without inventing a provider write.

Platforms

Choose your device

Apple, Android, Windows, Router, Advanced
Selected path

Apple

iPhone, iPad, Mac

Install the recommended app, then open your secure setup link directly on the Apple device.

Step 1
Install app
Prepare the device with the supported app before opening the secure setup handoff.
Step 2
Open the setup link on the same device after the app is installed.
Fallback
If the deep link does not open, copy the access details and import them manually.
Apple should feel especially calm, guided, and low-jargon in the web UI.
Troubleshooting

If setup misbehaves, keep the help structured.

Short answers first. Technical detail only when needed.
The setup button does not open the VPN app+

Check that the recommended app is installed first. If it is already installed, retry from the same device and browser, then fall back to manual import if needed.

Provisioning seems stuck+

Keep the UI explicit: show that access is still being prepared and offer a retry path instead of pretending the account link already exists.

I changed device and want to continue elsewhere+

Let the user reopen the setup center on another platform card rather than burying platform-specific guidance in a long support article.
